Newell Elementary School

Here at Newell Elementary, we serve students in grades Kindergarten through second.  We believe that a child’s education does not begin or end at school. Every waking moment is a learning experience of some kind. We hope that many families will be involved in the success of our school.

Newell Elementary has many educational experiences to offer you child.  We have a state of the art computer lab as well as computers in every classroom equipped with exciting learning software including Accelerated Reader and PLATO.  We have low teacher to student ratios averaging approximately 14 to 1.  We have a child friendly library, school breakfast and lunch programs, before and after school programs as well as a standards-based curriculum.  Our staff is dedicated to providing a learning environment that is positive, challenging, and supportive, with high expectations and standards, one that will allow each child to reach their maximum potential. We work closely with Tulelake Elementary School to ensure a positive transition between elementary schools.
